Why should I choose a Skilled Nursing facility?

A nursing center can provide the continuing medical care and rehabilitation services you need while you recover from illness or injury so that you can return home as soon as possible.  We offer the same services as a hospital, but in a more home-like setting.  We have doctors, nurses, rehabilitation therapists, and wound care specialists on site.

How will I know which facility is best for my loved one?

You and your loved one should look at several facilities before making a selection. Make sure you ask as many questions as you need to feel comfortable.

Do you take Medicaid? What is your insurance policy?

We do accept Medicaid. We accept most insurance companies including Integrated Health Plan, Inc., Community Health Choice, America’s Choice Provider Network (ACPN), Anicare, Molina Healthcare of Texas, Inc., Multiplan, Inc., National Preferred Provider Network/Plan Care America LLC, WellCare, United Mine Workers of America (UMWA) Health & Retirement Funds, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield Out-Of-State Plans, Care Improvement Plus, Coventry Health Plans, Humana, Prime Health Services, Three Rivers Provider Network, Tricare/Humana Military Healthcare Services, United Health CareTo learn more about the financial options available please call the office at 218-491-2226.

Do you offer short term or long term care?

We offer both short and long term care. We are a skilled nursing center that specializes in short, long and rehabilitation stays.

Can I bring medications from home into the facility?

We do require residents to bring their own medications with them when they come to our facility.

What is included in the daily charge for your skilled care facility?

At our facility, the daily cost includes meal service, housekeeping, amenity fees, and cost of care.

What services and amenities are offered for residents/patients? (transportation, hair care, wifi internet access, activities, shopping trips, outings, etc)

What are your visiting and business hours?

We are a 24 hour facility, so come visit your loved one at any time!  Our business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.

May I share a meal with a loved one at a facility?

We encourage you to spend as much time with your loved one as possible. If you wish to share a meal with them during your visit, please contact the front office.

If my loved one is staying short term, what do we need to bring?

If a loved one is only staying short term we recommend bringing comfortable clothing  and a few personal belongings and favorite toiletries to make their stay as welcoming as possible. We provide all of the furniture and equipment so there is no need to haul everything from home! Let us take care of that for you so you and your family can be focused on the recovery process.
